Do u get butterfles everytime you think of your exams??????RELAX......
you need to overcome your anxiety in order to do your best....
 
Try these simple steps guys....
m sure they'll help u out.....
 
This is a stressful time for most of ur who are either preparing for boards,for their yearly exams or for the competitive exams..and while it may be perfectly normal to feel a bit anxious about an exam,you need o ensure that you don't get caught up in the anxiety web....
 
        Most experts agree that a little tension is good as it puts the right amount of adrenaline into your body,so that your awareness levels are hightened and your reflexes become sharper.all this,say experts,allows you to perform to your maximum-in fact you could even recall information you may not have otherwise remembered....
 
But high stress levels lead to directly the opposite result:loss of memory,sleeping problems,fatigue and so on.so,if u feel a panic attack approaching,stop watever you are doing and try blank out your thoughts.if u r alone,you could even yell "STOP"! to yourself.in fact a good shout does wonders to lower anxiety levels!
                                   
   If u have been studying for more than 2 hrs and you feel swamped by the amount of material you have to cover,let your mind wander.think of a friend,place or nething that makes you happy.you will feel your body relaxing and the physical tension easing... 
 
Another great way to de-stress is to visualise success.atheletes do it all the time.in fact a research has shown that basketball players who visualise their shots have a higher scoring ratio.so,think of yourself as doing brilliantely and you will.talk to yourself in positive language.encourage yourself and congratulate yourself loudly when u have acheived a study goal you set yourself.
 
If during exam,you feel a panic attack about to seize you,focus on something in the room like the texture of the table,your pencil or pen etc.this will help you clear your mind and focus better.
 
But apart from mental stress,there is physical tension and this hits most of us before the exams begin.often this is caused by a lack of oxygen.if this happens to you,do a few breathing exercises.exhale till you feel your lungs r empty and thenbreathe in through your nose to a count of 8.feel your lower body expand as the air fills your lungs.exhale slowly.pretend there is a candle in front of you that u r trying to blow out.this sort of focussed breathing will re-energise you.....
 
     Another good exercise is to sit down somewhere comfortable and close your eyes.now focus on the muscles of your feet.if you feel any tension there,relax these muscles.now go up to your body checking for tension and relaxing those muscles.deal with your aniety and stress levels in a methodical way any don't let tension get to u.
