This is for all JEE aspirants especially those who will be spending a QUALITY TIME of your life behind the walls of kota other hostell coaching classes.This is based on my personal view on my friends who did hostel coaching.
Last to Last week our DEAN told us a very nice thing which i would like to share with you: A boy asked him that he screwed up his 1st semester and ended up with a not expected CPI. Our Dean told him :
" For past 2 yrs of life you relied on coaching to get the qs done. Whenever you were stuck you just got hold of someone and cleared your query. There lies the problem : You lost the capability to deal things on your own.
So when you come here you suddenly find that there is no coaching and then you blame the college , the academics and everyone around.Coaching is good as far as You DON't OVERCOACH yourself."
Try to solve things on your own and more important be a better human being.Why I find people more willing to know whether others are studying when they play around, Why are there such people in IIT, why do we have people who are only interested in knowing how to solve the qs than to show interest in studies.We have very few interested people in IIT : AND I AM NOT JOKING. We have more of management loving, sports loving kids.
DISGUSTING : People don't know how to talk . That happens when you live away from family.People don't know how to dress, how to talk, how to react. They come at a 8am class at 8:15 am with drooping shoulders, bathroom sleepers, unkempt hair. Show courtesy.One of our teachers told us " you all haven't been taught manners".
No doubts every year feedback from company is -ve in terms of soft skill and +ve in term of intelligence.
Coaching are good and must to most of the people but it is you who has to decide what to do and how to do. Try to UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT. Try to derive things on your own and MORE important try to be a better human being.
