: Many students on Tuesday found the Central Board of Secondary Examination class XII English Paper, easy to write. Though many students complained of many spelling and grammatical errors in the core paper, said teachers.

"Some questions were unclear for example, the questions mark was missing at the end of the topic in Set3, Question 6, section B, there was a question which asked that, if there should be more old homes for aged? but instead of the question mark it ended with a full stop and there was an article where 'the' was dropped in the phrase 'Joint Family System', etc" said Udita Ganguly, head of English Department.

However, according to the majority of teachers and students, English paper was overall an easy one.
