TIME MANAGEMENT   Awaiting Review for Nickels
Tagged with:       [Post New]posted on 13 Apr 2008 20:37:47 IST
The adage 'time and tide waits for none' or time is money' is perfectly true. Time is a bank that deposits 86400 seconds to your account at midnight. Irrespective of how you use it,again 86400 seconds are deposited in your time bank the next night. The credit is the same irrespective of whether you are George Bush, BillGates or a student aspiring for a good future.
While we all respect and revere the sucessful people, we seldom think of the arduous path they have trodden before success brought them fame. For example, how many of us know that Sir Issac Newton worked at the age of 19 as a subsizar in Trinity College,Cambridge, which means he worked as a servent to his own rich classmates to earn enough money to pay for his studies?
Passion for work is the essenced for success.
Work can be classified as three types-
Hard Work
It essentially means that you utilise every second of  your free time to accomplish you set goals.
Smart Work
Yopu effectively utilise your time so that you spend the right amount of time on right activity.
Planned Work
having decided on the number of hours available per day, prioritise it on a daily or weekly basis to take care of tests, assignments, lab-records and other contengencies.
Planning should be meticoulously done and more importantly, should be folowed without slip or excuse.
The following are some general guidlines on time management:
1. Sleep for exactly 5 hours a day, preferably from 12.00 midnight to 5.00 a.m. Reserch has shown taht 5 hours is more than enough for a healthy life. Make it a habit even later in your life.
2.Devote 9.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m. in night from Monday to Saturday for studyinf Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, alternately twice a week.
3. Utilise Sunday for other subjects and  activities.
4.Utilise all the free time in your college to complete your college home-works. This saves a lot of time for you.
5.Spend about half an hour on TV,on your favourite program, and another half an hour for any physical exercise to keep yourself physically fit and mentally active.
6.Ensure that your family members appreciate the seriousness of your effort and cooperate with you in terms of providing the right environment for study.
Hope this article is useful for the people who are a bit confused with their time management.
