cable layout means the order in which they have to be connected, mostly the favourable topology is bus, but u shud give the sequence of the buildings so that less cable length is req.

hub shud b placed in each wing. since hub is used and active hubs do the work of repeater by amplifying the signal, repeater is not req. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most suitable cable layout mein you have to design the most feasible network connection possible out of bus, star, ring, graph etc topologies. Most suitable cable layout is not "wing Z"...wing Z might be the answer to where the server should be placed...the one which has the largest no. of computers.

arrey i'll tell you the simplest way. just start from the smallest distance and keep connecting till all your wings are connected to alteast one other wing...there's your ans..
then hub/switch is placed on all wings
server on the wing which has highest no. of computers
economic internet facility is dialup or broadband cheapest is telephone lines and best is optical fibre...

its given it can compromise on speed it can use dial up or broadband these r economically cheap but provide less speed.
for high speed and long distances microwaves or radiowaves can b used. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
