Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program which allows one to enter numerical values or data into the rows or columns of a spreadsheet, and to use these numerical entries for such things as calculations, graphs, and statistical analysis.
It has many advantages- 1. Makes calculation easier. 2. Large volume of data can be easily handled. 3. Can put graphs, tables, charts etc. 4. Data can be easily exported or imported from other software. 5. Worksheets or their parts can be exchanged, merged etc. 6. Formulas r easily calculated when data value r changed.
