u seem to be really in luv wid cars
true, automobile engg is not recommended for gals
as it involves lots of physical work
but if u are really passionate about it
and willing to take up the challenges dat might come in your way in this field (physical as well as mental)
then no one can stop u

I'm a great believer in women power, inspite of me being a male. Gals should take up more and more new fields coz until they don't, It's only the field and the people associated that suffer.

Go for it and realize your dreams.

during your course u might be given a project, where in your group will have to build an automoblie etc
for this u will have to work really hard (may be like a real mechanic etc)

ask yourself, are you ready for such challenges

if yes , go for it

if no , give a second thought to this options
