According to my IIT score I am most likely to get a course in BHU. Should I go for it or should I try to see if I get something in BITS Goa? My BITS score is 336.
How do the two institutions stack up? And I did not give the AIEEE exam as I missed the form.
Any replies will be appreciated.

if i were u
i wud take up something like BE Mech/Chem at goa right now.....u will mostly slide up to tronix/comps (MOSTLY....)
then enjoy life
BHU is something if u wanna hear ppl say "WOH DEKHO IITIAN JA RAHA HAIN"
(Pseudo IITIAN but still)

Go for Bits yaar Bits is gaining a lot of prominence in the international field and who knows when u complete the course bits might be given more weightage than iit

OK, but what if my score is better than expected and I get a seat in the IITs?
Also, I don't think I have much of a chance with my score in BITS.

If u r getting IT BHU then u can also get some dual degree programme or Msc.(int.) in a IIT i think u should choose a IIT(not IT or ISM) rather than BHU, bits ,etc.

If you want to increase your success rate, double your failure rate.

I think BHU is much ahead than bits goa as goa campus has started recently . if its bits pillani than go 4 it , else b/w bhu and goa my vote is 4 bhu

i think bhu is better if u r not sure of gud marks in bits and dat also through iit. i would prefer bhu.but decide on wether u r getting ur desired branch or not.that's most imp than bits or bhu.

i thnk u shud join BITS..wid 336 i thnkl u can get a subjct like instrumentation(last yr cutoff fr goa 324)& evn electronics in goa if u r lucky coz last yr cutoff ws 333..& at pilani u'll get sumthn like chemical or civil or mechanical..if u go by the rankings BITS is ahead of evn IIT roorkee...so way ahead of BHU i guess..so accrdin to me u shud join BITS..

But I don't have any 'favorite' stream. I don't mind taking any stream as long as the institute is good.
