how would you rate bits pilani in comparison to other iits and it bhu as some of the most prestigious magazines have not included the instiution enen in top 25

these rankings are carried out under a lot of political influence .ie why bits dont go for them..

but dont go by the rankings
india today has ranked vellore at 10( common any sane person related to engineering knows how good it is),
one day nsit is at 8 , next time it drops out of the top 20
colleges like PSG, THAPAR make it to the top 10 from nowhere
these ratings arent reliable

For all practical purposes:
BITS Pilani comes in Top 5-10 institutes of India.
Besides, rankings of magazines are useless to a large extent, but not fully.

Overall, I would choose IITs currently due the brand value, esp for other than G and R. ISM and IT BHU are probably after BITS Pilani.

Surveys are crap to a good extent. Don't rely only on surveys. I admit BITS is very good and may overtake more IITs in the future.
