is civil in any good(govt) college better than mech in a not so good private institute. answer, rates fo sure

depends on your aptitude. dont compromise ur favourite branch to institution. civil is good in present prospect but mechanical definitely offers greater oppurtunity in job sector. but , as i said , its ur aptitude in subject thats more important.

i am getting ele and mech in manipal and civil in shibpur . shibpur is better but i do not know about manipal pl reply

well....shibpur is way ahead than manipal....but also keep one thing in mind.....if u are interested in further studies like mtech or ms....then u waill have to continue with ur previous branch itself....if u feel comfortable with civil then be it so...

mech in manipal is as good as civil in sibpur. see if u can find ee in a good ciollege.its really good.

see my frnd...nothing depends on what i suggest u....alien is right the two cases u have mentioned is almost equal....but now u need to decide...if u can continue with civil......if i were in ur place...i wd have taken civil shibpur...because it still has good scope in india...until idia is totally urbanised...

u see different ppl have different opinions......its u who is to decide.....but if u are interested in mech and eee...then u can also take up colleges like iem and heritage which i feel will be better than manipal.....rest up to u....

iem and heritage are not in the top 100 ranks but manipal at least has a rank. thanx for the views. helped a lot.
