I am getting 170 in AIEEE. I am from Tamil Nadu. I want to become a Robotics Engineer. Please suggest which UG course I can choose and in which NIT.

See i am not sure of which NIT you will get (Just wait for some time and AIEEE fellow will tell it to you.)
As far as robotics is concerned. It is not a fully developed branch. There are two fields which are important to robotics, mechanical engineering and electronics engineering. So depending upon your interest you can choose any one of these

170 in tamilnadu will surely fetch u a state rank good enough to get mechanical easily in NIT-Trichy as the competition here isnt big.
and, as said by the above expert, u can very well take mech if u r interested in robotics.

I dont know the job prospects of Robotics atleast in India. I want to become an astronomer. So, I should take Astrophysics or something. But my parents adviced me not to since there are not much job opportunities.

sastra univ probably offers a course in mechatronics .. which directly concerns robotics.
