I am a drop out student......................I have got 87 percent in 10th board and 84 percent in Twelfth ISC board......................I am doing SELF - STUDY at home because till date I have gone only 5 months to tuition and I had a very bad experience of tution..................Now first of all judging from my marks can I qualify IIT-JEE.................................I can easily spend 10-12 hours daily to read..............But my problem...........In our skool teachers did not even give a look t 75 percent of chapters of class 11 saying no relation with board exams and I was very careless and did not concentrate on the rest 25 percent..........................................................I have got 88 marks out of 100 in MATHS without copying and also being ver careless I had no problem in solving ISC text problems but M.L KHANNA.................I have just started ............I was comfortable in doing LOGARITHMS but Next now I am doing QUADRATIC equations and I find it very tough though i could easily solve text book problems......and before this I believed that I AM STRONG in MATHS...........But this has shAken my confidence..........I can understand most of the problems seeing the solution............but without solution...............I CAN solve only 20 percent of the problems.I think IGIVE my little effort nd I Can esily fet a rnk below 8000 in AIEEE......but IIT JEE........SHOULD I GO OR NOT....................AND WHAT IS QUADRATIC EQUATIONS THE ONLY CHAPTER WHOSE QUESTIONS ARE DIIFICULT AND LENGHTY In M.L khaana or everything..........................PLEAE HELP
try to solve tmh and iit-jee/aieee solved papers.you can solve your text book questions it means your basics are strong so increase your level slowly and try to solve harder questions.AND BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF AND YOU CAN CRACK IIT.
look one thing bishnu, clearing JEE with only self study is a very difficult task, only extra ordinary students can do it. And even if u get a rank then it will not be the one which u deserve.
So a proper guidance is necessary in prepn for JEE.. wat u get by studying book in 5 hr that u can get by a teacher in only 5min so its full wastage of time. And also there r tricks for solving every type of question, which u can not get frm books..
There is everything available in book, then wats the use of a teacher?
u hv got a gud %ge in 10th and 12th so u hv the potential to clear JEE...the only thing needed is the proper guidance.
Y i am saying this to u?? bcoz one yr before JEE(which i cleared) i was also thinking lyk u and wasted a lot of time. I was against tutions.......but i got so nice teachers after that, my view changed totally and i was able to prepare for JEE within 1 yr that too with class 12........
so there nothing bad in going tutions or coaching classes......but that doesnt mean that u go anywhr......go to that place only whr u r satisfied.
since this is ur final chance for JEE....so tak an action immediately
