DCE-IT or Civil BHU

None

Please tellme. I'm very confused.

Should I go for IT in DCE or Civil in IT-BHU ??

In recent times, I have heard that the academic environment , faculty and infrastructure in DCE have degraded substantially. My friend's father is a lecturer in DCE and he told that DCE has become a place for Masti and not for studies. IT faculty is facing a shortage and even the ones who are there, are not good enough.

On the other hand, I have learned a lot of good stuff about IT-BHU regarding it's academic enviroment, placements, research etc. I have talked to the chairman of counseling department of IIT Delhi ( I have a close link ) and he said that if there is anything after IITs, it's either BITS Pilani or IT-BHU. He has advised to take civil in BHU if I get it there.

But the problem with me is , That I live in Delhi and IT at DCE is very reputed here. Many have suggested me to take up DCE instead of IT-BHU as I'm also getting a better course there.

Or should I consider a non-comp, non elec or non IT branch in NSIT or Mech in DCE ??
Please help me out and put forward your suggestions.

hey man i donot agree that dce is a place of masti only. there is a good envirnment of studies also (as told by my senior friends) .

for u if

course is ur preference go to dce

if institute is ur preference bhu is definitely better than dce

look, some of the students get better jobs then some of the iitians.

decide accordingly.

rate if u feel good

I feel IT in DCE is better but the final decision is left to you.

I T-Delhi is best choice - not to over think----------------- u can see the placements of IT delhi and BHU is good but not IIT----- so no brand there but in delhi u get IT brand

dce is brand name not it bhu

also,

it is far ahead of civil

placements are also good

and dce is a place of over all development not it bhu

so go for dce
