How is the placement of EEE (electrical and electronics) compared to CS? Please guide.

and yaa...i have hrd that computer and software industry is not evergreen......it has got many fluctuations.......example....the aftermath of the wtc attack was horrible for the computer enggs all across the world...when many were rendered useless.....but yaa...if its done frm reputed institutions....then there is no case to worry... rate me if u guys are satisfied....

nigeria_sms is right in saying the IT industury can flactuate a bit if anything big happens that directly effects usa.
eee is one of the evergreen branches and u can get opening into IT industry as well and it has much wider scope regarding the placement, it is true that a cs student might get a better starting placement than eee student
if u are really interested in computers than go for cs otherwise eee is a better option rest is your decision

in india comp is more known for placement.......... but once you go abroad the rating of eee is more as comp engg req is declining as everything is already comp............ eee and mech are evergreen with eee with more oppurtunities cheers!!!
