Hello Sir,

I hav done two yrs of coaching along 11-12th at fiitjee, but hav again dropped last yr (as i wasnt able to clear jee)....... rite now i havnt joined any coaching institute.... hav done on my own..... and i think i hav done pretty gud preperation, but the hard tym is starting now, now the same question "will i get in or not" ... always keep cuming to my mind.... i hav done all i can, my percentiles in aits were 92 (average).. which is not even too gud.... and the pressure is too high, i knw if i'll be in the same way, i wont be able to give my best in the xam, so kindly help me out... i dnt want the last yr's history to be repeated .....

i m also in the same boat mansi!
i too had done my 11th n 12th from bansal classes n was not able to get into IIT this yr i m also not taking any coaching n i feel much better.
my percentile is also 93(avg.). in FIIT JEE. and 96 in brilliant.
see life is too easy n joyful but only when u respect it.
and espescially IIT is not any tuffer espescialy for when one have gud understanding of JEE patern.
u shud first decide ur strategy for JEE rite now.

the range of percentile in which we r is most dynamic n can shoot up to 99 on jee day n one thing that is more important is FIITJEE is notJEE
infact its far from reality
JEE stress over conceptual clarity --FITTJEE checks ur smartness of calculation n manipulation.

one thing above all
ONE WHO HAD DONE LABOUR WILL DEFINETLY GET ITS FRUITS

hi magicko ,

im not a expert but would like to give an advice .IIT problems are not tough they are very much logical problems so if u have done them b4 ,u can give them a try once more but not by recollecting the method u did the prob previoulsy ,but by a new method .if u do the same prob again and again by the same method or by doing the same againand again u r actually memrising it rather think of the logic to solve it .

nextly dont care abt those percentiles , they give u a very rough idea and they aare not IIT standard exam so dont bother to know them .just keep revising ur basics again and again .and be happy and as u told,

LIFE's tough ,but M tuffer . belive in it strnlgly .

here im again to advise u................remember me........ kvs............so feeling tensed???????? let me tell u one fact.......if u r standing in a grp of ppl n u laugh,smile talk......they get attracted to u n come to u..........if u giv them a damp,tensed,boring look........they will move away from u to mind their own business................so i feel life is like that......smile at it n it gets attracted to u..........scorn at it.......it wil move away from what u want...............same applies for jee...................

well..........see u getting tensed is not going to change the paper.........nor its toughness ..........nor the competition ur goin to face..................so then why the hell take tension????????????

my advice to u is laugh at jee.......it wil come to u wid a laughing face............

our mind is exactlty like a comp cpu......its got a capacity............now when we start having fear.....it tends to occupy our mind...........................a part of the space in our mind gets occupied by it...............so the space left for proper utilisation decreases...........do u want that to happen?? obviously no.....so why fear iit or the result.................life is not goin to change by u worrying nor wil the destiny change...............so why worry........

on the other hand u must enjoy ur last few days at home......after that u wil b goin to IIT n wil b seeing less of ur parents.....so enjoy the time wid them..............eat n sleep well........

god knows u hav prepared hard for two yrs............n he has gr8 results awaiting u.........so why worry sis???????

n about the marks.................dont giv a damn to it............till the time i used to giv importance to it ..........i felt i cudnt get into iit......but know ......i dont care about them...............n now i feel confident...........

plzz didi......i dont want to miss the chance of seeing u in iit!!!!!!!!

so relax di.............the only thing that can prevent ur entry in iit is u feeling TENSED...........

so plzz accept my advice.........plzz stay tensionfree n clear jee for sure........

I know it wud be hard on u as u are appearing for the second time.
But keep faih in GOD and most importantly urself. I assure u that u will definitely succeed. But even if u don't make it (which i feel is an unlikely possibilty !! ), don't worry maybe there is something much better awaiting u...afterall IIT ain't everythin' !!

Hi Friend

Let me tell you something about me.. about my time when I appeared in JEE.
When I was preparing for this I was very happy. There were many things to make me happy.. but here few points I want to mention here.
1. I enjoyed the coursework of JEE.
2. I had a great confidence in my abilities. (Although I never got better than 5th rank in my class)
3. I knew that IIT was not the last thing in the world.

So the bottom line is... at this point of time stop thinking about anything. Just focus on your studies, have a great confidence and keep your mind tension free. Dont think about the results coz you cant control it.

Hi there,

I completely understand your state of mind and can relate to it. My friend Pathfinder has answered appropriately to resolve your problem. A few more addendums from my side.

Beyond all self confidence and knowledge and power lies a Great Power to which sometime or the other we have to invariably surrender. Have faith in that Power and faith in the fact that you have adhered to your duty in preparing well, not cheating yourself or anybody and keeping your vision straight.

In my last days of preparation for IIT JEE, I prayed that no embarassment may come to me and my family with respect to my entrance to IIT and that things be smooth all through till I got in. And I got an AIR 223.

So, relax and surrender internally to time and wear on peace and joy on your face and in your mind. The best for you will happen.
