I want to know how i should tackle organic chemistry? i'm currently in 11th class............I've started reading Morrison-Boyd.............completed about first 4 chapters............i've completed most part in abc part 1.........still i'm having problem in organic..................pls help me...........

see i hav and still facing tha same prob. In fact i asked forum experts long ago what to do ?
Now what i m doing is reading my state board books viz, senior secondary chemistry thoroughly.
Will u believe even NCERT book seems high standard for me !!!!!
so i have read the portion frm my state board book and think that now i can start ncert.
after that i may go to morrison and boyd if necessary, repeat, if necessary. Becoz arihant organic, a bulky book is lying with me for last 9 months untouched.
So i advice u start frm pretty basic and proceed.
And yes, i m also in 11 class.

many have asked this type of question
and the only answer to this is revision
generally we dont revise bcoz we feel boring to open the book and read
so make the charts for reactions and paste it an d walls and see them regularly i m sure that it will help u
i hav too made them and now they r fixed in my mind hope it will help u too

actually ive made a separate compendium for organic chemistry. i revise it before every fiitjee test by writing every reaction on paper. is that enough or should i read my notes daily?i havent made any charts. but yeah, ive made separate sections for taking notes from Morrison-Boyd and miscellaneous reactions from arihant.........

leave all the sources for organic chemistry you are presently entangled with.the best possible source of organic chemistry is il finar but it is not a type of book you can tackle with right now or you will end up just completing your organic chemistry by the time you face jee.the second best source is brilliant packages.i don't recommend them for physics and maths at all but for chemistry there is no other source more reliable than them,i mean for physical,organic and inorganic all.so don't perplex yourself anymore and stick to them without wasting further time but if it is your board examinations that are troubling you just be limited to the ncert book and leave everything else.

guys reading the entire book repeatedly may be boring. its better to make self notes to assist you much better .the notes should contain all imp points that has to be remembered,imp equations,formulae etc. this method has helped me a lot in my exams.

seek organic chemistry booklets of FIITJEE corrspondance.......it is streamlined to our necessity and also pretty good theory(rare for other fiitjee correspondance topics........)...
