As you must be knowing in the cities like Delhi where there are lot of coachings, there is a competition between students of diffrent coaching institutes studying in the same school same class. I am also a victim of that. About 5 months ago, when I was taught eletricity and magnetism in my coaching, it was the best teaching I could ever experience. As a result I understood the topic very well and gain a lot confidence in it(almost infinite confidence). I was so much confident that I used to solve all the hard problems given to me by my classmates.This made the students of other coachings jealous. One day they asked me, will I be able to get AIR-500 in IITJEE. As that time I was full of confidence, I said ''probably yes''. Now they got something to tease me about. They started calling me AIR-500 and started demoralising me. This time I am studying mechanics and as my mechanics is weak, I am running a bit out of confidence and hence they are teasing me a lot. They call me AIR-500, they abuse me. This is demoralising me and I am losing my confidence and getting depressed. Please suggest a way to tackle this problem(remember they are stronger than me and I can't fight with them). What should I do to those students?? Please reply.   |

Chill dude.....Find the lightning in the cloud........ Your friends teasing u is only helping u stay focused....... As for competition, a person is continuously competing with himself...... People arnd u will never understand that, at home, at school, in ur neighbourhood.....Use both ur ears to listen to them....Dont analyze their words, jus let them pass thru...... When u compare urself with someone, u r insulting urselves, so give a damn to the comparisons........ But yes, u have smthin to worry abt if u're not gettin btr..........

Woh to theek hai but school mai 6 hours mujhe unke comments jhelne padte hain. They really hurt me and demoralose me. School mai kuch padhne ka man hi nahi karta. Kya karoon kuch samajh nahi aa raha?

well frnd after reading ur prob....its a general one
see first of all....never show how much u study (esp to ur frnds)
if u know anything....dun show off....
and to ur problem...
well dude....demoralize hone se kuch nahi hoga....u have to study nw these days....and u better jst study
u said they are stronger than u.....so beat them frm ur mind...
and the best possible way u can beat is by getting AIR <500
so bas mehnat karo....now u have ur exams na...
u dun have to go to school much...
so dun think abt them
jst study study & study
its high time....gain ur confidence back

Mujhe thoda acchha feel hua aapke replies se. Mujhe kal school jaana hai, and I gave AITS today and I know that tomorrow they will attck me as one of them met me today at exam centre and he was teasing me by saying-''dekho AIR-500 aa gaya. tune to paper ki phaad ke rakh di hogi na? Usme bada sa hole kar diya hoga na?''
Ab mai kal unhe kaise handle karoon?

Dont listen to Himanshu abt the study pt...... Dont care whos watching......Dont change ur study plan 'coz of ppl who dont give a damn.....Wat is important to u is ur JEE rank...... Is it not..... Set ur priorities man....... As far as ur friends' comments r concerned, kuch dinon mein aadat ho jaayegi......

Dude, the next time, ur frnds(or so called frnds) tease u......dont get teased.....Give them a solid...."500 nahin 50 bol".......And b performance oriented rather than caring abt sm1's comments.....

yaar, don't listen to them, now its almost the end of session, plenty of holidays round
the corner, den preboards and then prep leave, you dont have 2 many days remaining in your school , so your demoralising friends are not there for too long
for the time being you just focus on yourself, and jst concentrate on your studies, maybe if you can skip ur schools or minimize going to schools, that would be of gr8 help,
well as about mechanics, see u cant excel it in a days time, atleast give it a week solve variety o questions, dont go for tougher problems frm the start,
and ya just believe in yourself, never lose hope,

Dude..study hard. Study 24x7 . and do the best you humanly can. and say what jatin said to those idiots .."500 nahi 50 bol". Thats the way to go. Dont get scared. Hard work is the only way to reply.

Thanx nishant for ur advice. Mujhe aisi hi advices milti rahe to I will be able to gain my confidence faster.
Maine socha hai jab woh mujhe abuse karte hain to unke next time tease karne par mai bhi ek badhiya si gaali deke unse woh keh doon jo Jatin ne kaha hai. Am I right?

arre yaar gaali dene se kya hoga tere peeche aur pad jaayenge,if they'll get the hint that u r getting frustrated and distracted ,den they will tease u even more , best way is to try avoiding them and don't listen to them whenever any encounter is there
and yaa
jatin's comment will be a befitting reply, bas ek baar de dena problem ka the end ho jaayega
