Help the not-so-good
None
I have no powers of original thinking. If you give me 10 problems and the solutions I can do those 10 problems. But i have never produced a solution on my own. Am i good enough for iit or nit or bits or any engg. college, isn't original thinking essential? I'm going to 11th, iit coaching has started , i am among the worst in the coaching class. Should i give up, i love science .......

Hii.....since you love science you can easily learn the exam portions and master them.
Now you have just entered class 11 so first read the theory part properly.When you are confident that you can answer all types of questions from theory part, move on to solve problems.
First clearly study worked examples.Understand them properly.Then move onto simple problems from exercise.If you couldnt solve some go back to worked examples and study again.Keep repeating this until you have solved all the simples problems from exercise.Once you have finished it go for the tougher ones.Remember that a single problem can be solved in many ways.So choose the best and shortest method.
Problem solving technique can be mastered only by practice.Now you have a lot of time to practice.So please dont give up preparing for IIT.
Once you get the problem solving technique then you will be among the best in your class.

Hey friend,
One of my friends was in the same condition as you.
Now he has got admission to iit.
Unlike he was having self confidence to do anything.
Just be confident and concentrate on ur studies only dont care about otheres sayings.
You may choose CSE it has good scope

A teacher teaches lesson & then keeps the exam.
But the life keeps the exam first & then teaches the lesson.
Winning horse doesnt knw y it runs in race,it runs bcoz of beats n pains....Life is race;god is ur rider..So if u r in pain then think,GOD wants u to win the race..
Train your mind to acquire silence. Because if the mind is silent, there is a great possibility of clarity in the thoughts...
life is lik cotton- dnt make it heavier
by sinkin in water of sorrow,
but makeit lighter by letting it in d
wind of joy........
when life throws lemons on u,
make lemonades,
wn it throws scraps, make a quilt

hey
dont lose ur heart..
most people feel the same when they enter class 11
but you see, as time passes.. u will find that science is fun and u wud b able to solve ques!!
just try to concentrate in d class... most of ur study is ther only! believe me.. just by conc more in the class.. u can do wonders to improve ur rank.
and then comes self studying..
i would suggest ncert books 4 every sub. they r really good.. n they teach u d concepts required to solve ques
n bcz u hav realised wher ur lacking... half the problem is solved!
u hav plenty of time by ur side..
work hard n work smart..

Your preparation should be like this:
* First make a timetable for ur preparation
* Follow the routine - dont break it in the middle
* Should have self confidence (MUST)
* Find time atleast 8 hrs daily for studying.
* Also keep in mind to play (for me its cricket daily at 5 pm to 6.30)
* Be cool always
* Join for some correspondence course (such as narayans)
* Study also the NCERT books
* Spend some time in goiit website - interact with friends
* For physics - HV Verma's is a must
BEST WISHES FOR UR EXAMS ....

Why newton's 2nd law of motion is called as 'REAL LAW OF MOTION'?
Becoz all other laws can be derived from 2nd law.
For example in
F = ma
if a = 0, then F = 0 which means for an unaccelarated body the vector sum of all forces acting upon it is zero. This is 2nd law.
Similarly 3rd law can be derived from F = ma .
