OK i just missed the mark to stanford. Anyway, nothin' sad... But i need help!

 

Can anyone tell me how to go about the following:

 

I want to go into computer science for the sole purpose of that as a future job (even if I'm good) though my real interest lies in experimental physics and i want to go into research probably PhD (but not a job in physics). In US, we have the option of majors and minors so you can choose whtever subjects u like, but now how to go about this in India?

Btech in computers, then Mtech in computers, and then PhD in physics? ... Is this allowed? or for PhD in physics i need to go for Btech in it also?!

Man, I'll become an old man if i spend 14 years more in education after spending the same time in school!!!

 

Someone help me clear my doubts.... OR i think I'll have to change to commerce altogether and become a businessman like Ambani brothers lol
