i hv got a rank of 37k in aieee can i tk the risk of filling form 2 bec they dont return us the money once they allot an institution.... plz help is it worth taking the risk wid this rank...

If you are lucky then you might scrap through Transport, Mining, Polymer etc engineering in bottom 3-5 NITs in first counseling and at most you may get it in the bottom 5-7 NITs in Form 2 or Civil or Production engg in those 3-5NITs. So it basically depends on what all you have in hand. At such a crucial stage of your life I would say don;'t go after the money, try to get something worthwhile if possible.
Have you not given other examinations?

Do one thing. Fill only those choices in Form 1 which you are willing to take and which will make you feel satisfied. Fill all institutes for Form 2. So if you get something acceptable in Form 1, you won't mind it. Else you will get something even better in Form 2. :)
BTW I recommend trying for JUIT, Nirma, Amrita, SASTRA etc. Going for a management/nri seat would be even better.

i dunno y people compromise with the branch
see the university in wich u go matters.....not the college...if u are getting an average clg in a good university with a good branch u must take it
never compro with the branch......
look for the clg in ur state and i think with ur rank u will get some better clg.....

WELL THNX ... BUT I DONT THINK I LL GO FOR MANAGEMENT SEATS.... N REST I HVNT FILLED FORMS FOR JUIT,NIRMA ETC I LL C I GUESS U R RITE AT THIS CRUCIAL POINT I SHOULDNT THINK ABT MONEY BUT I LL FELL VERY VERY BAD IF IT WOULD GO IN WASTE...:(

u must have a target college.....
see like u have any good college (wich u think is good) and u think that u mite have a chance to get it , then only u shud.....
if derz no such college , then dont.....
