Hey ! I just started integration , and I am finding gr8 problems in remembering formulas . There are so many diff. forms , that I am getting confused Also , the questions take a lot of time to get solved , and I think this is harmful for objective exams . So , I request someone excelling in integration to help me improve , and tell me some short-cuts for saving time !!! Thank You

Don't worry umang, this happens with everyone. So don't be discouraged.Even if you can't remember the formula, just keep practising intg. regularly. Also while solving the problems, look up the text book to get the formula required for a particular form. With regular practice you will with time get used to the problems. As far as short cut techniques are concerned, there really aren't many in intg. All you have to do is keep solving good variety of problems from good books and get acquinted with the standard forms. The more you practice, the more you will start feeling the subject and the problems will be done in a jiffy. The initial part is a bit tough and often frustrating but remember-Intg is great fun so just keep going and enjoy it instead of worrying about objective questions in exams. The moment you start enjoying it the problems will be solved with great ease..

once u r well versed with the formulae and have done sufficient practice. there is a time-shortening concept for obj. exams. if it doesnt click how 2 solve the integration[only for indefinite] at first attempt then simply try to think out some probable answer out of the 4 options and differentiate it. even if u r wrong at first tym, u will click it in immediate options. If u r an expert at differentiation, differentiating all the four options takes less time than solving the whole integration. Do try it later. but first of all find the hold on subject. good luck

In starting every one had face the same problem that you are facing but it doesn't matter. it is up to you how you will take the problem and face it....
i think you know it very well that "practice makes a man perfect" but nobody is perfect in this world
so dont ever lose your hope and work hard the success will be in your hand. the only thing that you will have to do is practice, practice and practice..........
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!
