civil in all iit's xcept kanpur and delhi
biotechnology 4yrs and 5 yrs at iit roorkee
material science at iit b
which branch i shd take??

if i were u,id have taken the first option.still if u wanna get into constructin bridges(which isnt bad at all),take civil(its a specialisation).And in my opinion and acc to a proffessor 4m iitb d fld of bt is still nascent and u shdnt go 4 it

go for civil iitr then chemical dual iitkh then other iits civil u should know that civil is best in iitr so go for it and enjoy ur life rate me if useful

Well dude all the institutes that u ve mentioned are almost at par with each other. So now what matters is ur interest. Give some time to urself and discover what u like the most n enjoy the most. Do not try to look frm an economic point of view. Do not have any preconceived notions about any institute. Judge urself liberally and then u shall really explore urself. Remember that THERE IS NO FUTURE IN ANY JOB, THE FUTURE LIES IN THE PERSON WHO HOLDS THAT JOB. So whatever u choose to do, do it frm ur heart and do ur best. If u r best in ur field u would definitely outshine whatever the field may be. Well i found the following article useful so do read it.
