i have got mechanical in IIT Bhubaneswar and currently have Msc phys at BITS pilani but as per last yrs cut offs am sure to get mechanical at BITS goa. so if i am getting mech at bot IIT Bhubaneswar and BITS goa the question finally comes down to shich institute is better.

i have listed the pros and cons of each institute but need some more info to come to a decision

BITS goa

established, good campus/faculty/placements etc.

no iit tag, not well known within india amongst non tech crowd, no brand image internationally

IIT Bhubaneswar

iit tag, has the iit brand image outside india, iit is very well known inside india, first yr in IIT kgp

iit has too much political interference, new campus so doesnt have any placement record, no campus constructed as of now.

for same branch IIT is best

no point of comparing these new iits with any cllg when they havnt been even built yet...they do hav the iit tag with them but what r they goin to teach u without infrastructure...go 4 bits which is established...
