Civil engg. at roorkee is the best in whole of our nation!!!!!!!!

Apart from civil engg. IITR dooesn't have very much good placement records(coz even IITG have better placements than iitr)

Considering CIVIL at iitr-(yr 2007)
Avg.-9 lacs
Max-19 lacs in indian company and 36 lacs in a foreign company(in INR)

Yes, the best institute for Civil in India is IIT Roorkee. Its average package is aroung 8 lakhs per annum.
