Thapar and NIT Jaipur are roughly as good.

Thapar may be a little better but then I guess it is rather strict as well besides you don't get the NIT label which you get with Jaipur which is not too far behind either.
However between your subjects I guess wait for second counseling and you will probably land up with CSE or ECE in Thapar. If however this is what you are expecting after the second counseling then NIT Jaipur might be a slightly better bet.
