hello frndz..
my problem now im facing is that i hav 2 months left fr cbse boards n 3 months left fr jee...
i actually ignored studyin fr boards frm the starting of the year..n was concentrating very much fr jee n related competitive examz....
now i hav gud percentiles in BMAT....n in last pre boards i scored around 83% as aggregate....
the thing wch is hindering me now is tht whether i must switch bak to start studyin fr boards...r can i c'nue to study fr jee...
but i want to get abv 90% in boards(acc to my parentz n teachers this is more imp thn jee)

IIT and CBSe syllybus is bit different if study for IIT througly u will easily get 90% in CBSE

The syllabus for jee n d boards doesnt differ much u cnt state ur problem saying dat u studied for jee but ignored ur boards coz d thng u studied is almost d same.......though mayb on a diff pattern... the problem of urs can b easily sorted out if u continue ur preparation as u were doing while laying sm additional stress on d theory part will help.......dats d only diff one can find in d objective jee ppr n d subjective board pattern!!! hope it helps u!

@kasi,
i totally agree with ishita's reply,
see, acc to me, if u prepare for jee, then u r bound to get good marks, in boards, bcoz jee requires strong fundamentals, and a good grasp of knowledge,
but the converse is not true, boards syllabus is quite easy and u can pass them even by mugging up the portions, ...
so i nutshell my advice to u.
study deep, lay emphasis on the derivation of formulas, rather than the final result, bcoz sometimes in derivations we use approximations , and those approxiamations are applicable everywhere not necessary...,
so just start from the basics, board mein NCERT se bahar ka kuch nahin aane waala, and never be nervous and you'll be fine :):)

see it in this way physics,chemistry,maths remain the same whether its jee or cbse its only that jee has difficult ques associated with it and boards not so difficult ques[i m not saying easy] main thing is getting the concepts. i m also sailing in the same boat as u . but i believe until u r not confident with boards u r mentally not ready for any competitive exam . i know there r many students not doing well in boards but making it to iits. its only b'cauz they don't know the answering process as ques here r subjective type. i think boards and jee go handin hand u cannot ignore one and choose the other.divide ur time accordingly for boards prep and jee prep. hope such a long lecture helps u and it does not go useless.don't hesitate to correct me if i m wrong.
