Hi!

I guess the following advices will help :

1. Combine class and IIT together. Try as much as you can.

2. Think again about your choice of books for preparation. Choose books which contain good conceptual questions and not ones carrying loads of stupid questions. Same with the theory. Usually , study material provided by coaching classes like FIITJEE or BRILLIANT TUTORIALS is good and complete.

3. Do not think about Class XII or exams while preparing for IIT. Just enjoy it.

4. Plan what you have to do from hour to hour. Like 12 ques in this hour or so.

5. While solving problems try to solve it completely by yourself. If not , consult text and again solve. If you still can't get it compare your method of approach with the solution provided and get the necessary advice / explanation from an expert (as to why my ans is wrong?). This way you will become proficient quicker.

6. Make a yearly plan covering JEE with Class XII.

I followed what I said and I got good results. Though I couldn't clear JEE (I had fever) but got good marks at BITS (361).
