hi, me and my best friend are both iit aspirants. he is a boy but we are only friends though ppl try to tease us. we both give iit. i am getting 350 and he only 310. so we are quite depressed.

i am confident that i wont get any good seat in cse, or electrical or mechanical. so I am happy with civil in guwahati. but he will not even not get paper pulp engineering and has been crying for past 2 weeks. :(: ( we have been friends from class 1and i dont want to separate. but we have done well in aieee.

should I take up NIT or should I leave him and go to iit??? Pelase advice. we are in a spot of dilemma now. :(
