hey what r the scopes of mining engineering(4 yrs)....from ismu dhanbad........ please its very urgent........... actually i m also getting...........civil and chemical in BITS PILANI...........so what to decide..........many r saying the avg placement in ismu dhanbad is very good ...........but BITS PILANI CIVIL , CHEMICAL IS NOT SO GOOD..........SOplease help me....... salutes will be given for every answer..........but please help me.....

go for mining at ISMU Dhanbad.............it has good job prospects.

hey dude i wud say go for bits civil (not chem)....bcoz its an everlasting branch of engineering...moreover bits is above dhanbad in ranx also!!!....also nowadayz civil salaries also rock!!!...& bits prestige will totally turn u on.....

If u like Mining Engg,
ISM is the institute to go to. Job prospects might be as good as Mining Engg at IIT-Kgp.
If u don't like Mining,
go for BITS-Goa where u might get a better stream ( Mech may be) than at BITS-P.

I would suggest u to go for BITS Pilani...as u r lookin for gud job prospects take Civil...the packages these days in Civil are sky high..

hey man, you should choose bitd in my opinion because its level is like IIT only but only if you have some money in your pocket.

look yaar .........there is no problem for money......but my sir is saying that when u will pass in 2011.......then there will be many above u in civil .........so job prospects may not be so good..........and BITS PILANI IS known for CS only...........or ELECTRONICS.........but if u will take mining........then it is tough ........but there will be very less people from mining so job secured......ism .(ASIA BEST COLLEGE)............. in case of placements - BITS PILANI IN CIVIL- AVG PLACEMENT - 3.5-4.0LACS.... HIGHEST - 8.2 LACS.... ISM IN MINING ....- AVG PLACEMENT -6 -6.8 LACS HIGHEST - 28 LACS ...... SO WHAT TO SAY............MANY CONFUSIONS ...PLEASE HELP...

and in case of BITS GOA..........i will advice ...dont take it.......because i know their system ...one of my closest frnd is studying.........
