MY PLAN FOR GOIIT ...PLZ SEE THIS..

I'll come straight to the point guyz and gals, i have been watching some really ugly



situations in which our dedicated site goiit.com has been through. This site has



helped me a lot for my exams and i will never forget this. But now I feel we really



gotta take some gud action against all those guyz who have been really messing up



with this site. So, after a thought, i have come to plan that i wud like to put before u



and wud like to have it commented upon by Administrator Sir and moderators



including students.



The whole problem is based on just one thing: the ease of any anonymous person to



log in with a fake ID and ask irrelevant and insulting questions to us. So the solution



to me seems very easy: Make it difficult to any person to post articles/comment/ask



questions. Now this can be done by altering the way the questions are asked (sent)



in the mainframe computer of Goiit.com.



I propose that we shud make a new way of asking questions by filtering them



through 2 interface layers that will consist of



1st Layer: MODERATORS: Here atleast 3 moderators will approve a question and



forward it to Administrator for its final approval after checking whether the content



is obscene or harmful in any way,



2nd Layer: ADMINISTRATORS: after the approval of moderators the question will be



checked and again verified by the Administrator for anything harmful or obscene



content. After his/her approval will ONLY the content be published in the forum.



Possible Problems that may arise have been carefully listed below:



1. When the administrator is offline: the material from moderator will be forwarded



to any randomly chosen 3 students who will check for its content,



2. When the moderators are offline: The content will be analysed by randomly



chosen 3 students and forwarded to administrator for it s final approval,



3. When both moderators and administrators are offline, the content should be



analysed by any randomly chosen 5 students, and if any of these votes against it



(veto power), the article will be stored in a memory which be later examined by



moderators and then by administrators when they are online.



4.  May lead to slow down of posting of problems in the forum as they are analysed



each and everytime by 3/5 people: but at least the name and fame wont be



deteriorated, and the process should be carried as fast as possible.

good idea but it seems toilsome.

For obscene messages, perhaps the admin can create a program to filter out obscene words before it can be posted.

guys please focus on your studies. give us some time for remedial action.
