hi........thats good enuf.......u can proudly boast that u have cracked iit n aieee outta ur
own efforts. in the near future......so dont get demotivated.....classes r somethin that just trigger u to be wid ur books......
other wise if u can mould ur heart and mind and keep sayin to urself "i wanna crack iit"......just
look out for good books from the experienced students here..(unfortunate i cant suggest u books!!)..
PUT IT INTO UR MIND THT "I WANNA CRACK IIT"......be wid ur books for most of the time
and u will find how capable u r soon.......many ppl there r wastin loads o' money and time and becum
tired listenin to lecturers talk an talk........ITS FREEDOM GN TO U IF U CAN LEARN WIDOUT THE AID OF
CLASSES.......just be wise enuf to consult other frnds about the tips lent out to them in the coachin
classes......alryt......?u can do it........dont think u r the only one tryin to crack things without the aid of
those classes.......!!!!there r benefits o' attendin those.......but still............!!!

books - i hop these will help u
physics-- hc verma and resnick halliday or abc of modern physics for class 11 and 12 these 2 are real good books
organic chemistry--- peter sykes (better than morisson boyd) or mtg organic chemistry book
physical chem --- p bahadur prefer it over r.c. mukherjee for numericals theory-- go for mtg or arihant both are good
inorganic strictly study only cbse ncert books for 11 and 12 if u want to explor try jd lee
maths rd sharma is good for theory only either go for arihant mathematics books series or take dasgupta i will not advise ml khannaa u dont hav sombody to coach u (even i didnt hav coaching ) last but not least make your own handwritten notes at least for topics u feel u do not understand properly now u can opt for various corrresponding courses of brilliant ar fitjeee but what i suggest is that u take mtg monthly mazines for 2 yr or 1 yr or it would be even better if u could get correspondence of arihant magzines of name physics spectrum , chemistry spectrum etc. at the end i will tell that take very few books but study the books u hav properly i hop it helps

forget the attitude n spirits n the thoughts of crackin IIT.....just keepin em wont help now lets talk substance :
buy all the good books that u can..in one shot...FIITJEE HCV MLK OPAg Etc etc....and spend 1 day n create a game plan for the year ahead.....imagine u r the manager of a coaching class n make a timetable which will give u enuff tym to complete one chapter from atleast 2 books n revise it 3 times a month somehow.... plan for each month n plan realistic....dun plan of completing entire syllabus in 1 month n stuff (overstatement but dont try plannin tooo high)...write periodic tests (just tell ur sis/bro/mom/dad to mark any 100 questions from any book from the chapters u finished and see how much u get...its fun, believe me)...n try to finish the portion waaay before tym...say around September...then revise n revise n revise.... n keep a balance of all 3 subjects....ask urself questions each nite... 1. did i emphasize on each subject ? 2. do i remember the questions n concepts that went wrong (think about this for a minute) ? 3. how much of my portion is over ? so how much is left ? . . . i had mine...plan ur own.....before sleepin ask urself all these questions sounds stupid, immensely, but it works...no harm in trying
and mostttt importantly...dun get boggled on seeing the material available in the market n how ur friends are doing if they have classes..stick to good books...use goiit for doubts..n while solving..try n solve each chapter from 2 books at a tym..not more not less...if u do too much its bad...if u do too little its bad...
*Written From Past Experiences There is a lottt more i could tell but time constraints for me :( ill write in more

I suject that u go in for RD Sharma......since u r from SSLC u'll find it a bit challenging but don't loose hope and try hard for acheiving the best..........I'm from Bangalore and doing my 12th in CMR NPS.......My cousins faced the same problem which I stated above since they were from state board and took a month or two to adjust..........BEST OF LUCK!!!!!

R D Sharma is a good 1st book....since it has ample lot of solved examples to get u started off...after that u cud try MLK KCS.....cant really say which is better since i din use KCS ever...just heard its a league ahead of MLK....if u r aspiring only for AIEEE n not IIT...then i think MLK is good enough for u Best Of Luck
