I am in 12th now and amm in Fiitjee to year classroom program.1 year has passed by i did not study much in class 11th . i was in a confused state. I n 10th i scored 91%.But now i am ready and am willing to put in my 100% am doing so too since a past few weeks like studying as much as possible but i have realized i do not cover much in 5 hours also ,it takes time to understand but one i do things start coming naturally .I really want to make it to the IIT's not only because i have a personal desire but also because my dad is an IIT rank 385 and i want to show it to him that am as intelligent as he is and can make him proud.Do you think i can make it ?. Or have i wasted too much time?...Not that i din study at all i did but not much to take me to a competitive level.Right now i am feeling very depressed and have realized studying gives achievement and achievement and that sense of achievement gives long term enjoyement .its not momentary like other pleasures ..Please suggest me a plan and tell me how to achieve my target with all other students much beyond my par at present because they worked hard in 11th .Can i beat them ?..I ts something i want to prove ..But still i feel i wasted time will i be able to cover up ..I am very very tensed friends please help me

There are a number of things u need to keep in mind while preparing for IIT.
1) Its the attitude that matters the most. U need to enjoy wtvr u study. That way u can study harder n better.
2) U need to study smartly. Its not the number of hours that matter. Take ur own time n understand a concept so thoroughly, tat u shld be able to remember it without revising it ever again.
3) Never Panic. U still got a full year ahead ! So whatver u do, make only short term plans n complete them effectively.
4) Any1 can become AIR1 if they plan properly, study hard effectively. So everything is in ur hands. so dont wry abt ppl doin better than u now. You ruddy well can beat them !!!
5) Try not to get distracted n waste time. Aim for AIR1. That way u'll think of squeezing in time when others wont be studying. But most importantly, as i said earlier, never panic n take enough rest. Dont exert yourself.

Thanx ultimator.....But i need more suggestions ........How to plan ....What should i do in the upcoming 1 month holidays...as i have to cover up 11th coarse

You must utilize your summer vacations in revising your 11th syllabus.
Don't get depressed. Just clear out the basic concepts.
After the vacation, just focus on your 12th. After your exams are over,you'll get 1 month time. During that time, you can further revise 11th.

thats a wrong strategy ....... dont study seperately for boards and JEE ..
it will b a waste of time .... instead .. follow the JEE pattern ...
and most of ur boards can b done just by attending ur school ...
and u can concentrate on the boards in the month of feb.
u will only need to cram the theory part in ur boards if u study according to the JEE pattern ...

hmmm..Allright and what is the right way to solve more problems or to understand the theory which are the best books for theory in Maths chem and physics.Can you tell me which chapters to concentrate more on for Jee so that i can be thorough in them .Which are the scoring topics?...and over which topics i can build and edge over others if i do nicely

fiitjee brilliance will help when
u slog 12 - 14 hrs a day studying with no music etc
else it is useless do ur hsc
it is experience
dont fail
it is possible to crack jee even in six months of good study
