Respected experts,

I am Rishabh from Chandigarh, in 11th. I am not your ideal IIT stuff geek but good enough. I had applied to go to Singapore through SIA and got a very good score in theory but messed up my interview...... So i did not get into Singapore........... And whats worse i wasted 3 and a half months on this crap and neglected my JEE preparation.... November mein meri aankhen khulli! So i started with NCERT and have almost finished almost hole of it. It will be over by 10th January. After that I plan to do all my assignments tuition notes etc etc for +1 before 12th starts. I have started working hard. I do put in atleast 10 hours of quality time(not just sit there but actually study).........

So now the intro is over my big question to you guys.........
Am I still in the league? Should I even be dreaming of IIT? What are the things that i need to do before march this year that ensure that my AIEEE and BITS level +1 syllabus is optimal so that I can get into PEC Chandigarh, BITS Pilani, etc.....

And what all do I need to do to prepare myself  and my +1 syllabus for IIT? How hard do I need to work?

And please also tell what differentiates BITS from AIEEE and both of these from IIT(not the institutes but the exams). Everyone says that 11th is the pillar for all these, if your 11th is not clear then you are nothing. I have also had the hard luck of getting into the company of friends who i thought were my friends but actually they demoralised me to a level where i was almost on the verge of a nervous breakdown. But i am all over it now, my parents and real friends have really boosted me up by showing me my good points, after all i was performing very well before august....... Top 20-40 at the best tuitions in the city.
I have understood each and every part of the syllabus, the only thing I lag behind in is my practice and corresponding application skills........

Please give a detailed reply as my confidence depends on such counselling and of course practice. I request all Experts and seniors to pitch in and help me out of the mess i have created........

Ever thankful to all of you,
RG

Rishabh

AIEEE and BITSAT are both tough... none of the Big 3 entrances are easy... The thing is... a person who prepares for JEE finds the other 2 easy... but still IT IS NOT A JOKE GETTING INTO TOP NITS OR BITS PILANI... mind you Pilani is ahead of 2 IITs in the rankings... AIEEE has amazing competition... 1 mark can push you behind by 2000 ranks. So prepare hard... and reap the fruits of success

Will nip in at times to solve problems :)

hello dude,

You are doin enough hard work my friend and it is enough for
you to complete all your +1 level sylabus for IIT.

ou study 10 hours a day and that 10 hs u give is quality time
So I suggest u that if u don put quality time of 10 hrs then
for ur +1 sylabus try completting on chapter in one day.

Kinematics can be done in 1 day or we can say if we take
2 hrs in one days then 5 days will get you ur Kinematics
done.

Mechanics the same as u can put 10 hours can be done in
3 days and then make sure that for the next day that is
the 4th day take a book and star solving the questions fr
complete 10 hours and that will surely help u gain ur lost
confidence :)

Now regarding that are u in the league or not.
My friend now presently u ask me no one is in the league
except for th ones who if work hard will be able to come
in top 100.

The rest of 4900 ranks are still for anyone's taking, so
u r still in the league or i must say in the hun for becomin
an IITian.

But you will be in the league of you put atleast 6 hours of
daily quality time anbd i say that you need to put max of
7 hours a day and you will be done.Only if you think you
got the brain power to do it.

Instead of just following my words of 7 hours max is done.
Think that you like which path:
7hrs + gud brain   OR
10hrs + gud brain.

Its upon you but as u have mentioned that u have some
20-40 rank in top tuitions then it seems tat its possible
fr you to adopt the 7hrs + gud brain training.

For physics:
Atleast complete : full mechanics and Electricty Magnetism
once u do electricit magnetism .gravitation will be easy for
you.

For Chemistry:
Full complete
Very easy and really scoring :) (first proirity)

For Maths:
Trigo - learn the formulas (v.Imp)
-not dat imp topic.

Calculus Full
Progression,P&C,Quadratic,Probability,Determinants
= require time but can be done in 2 weeks :)
with good concentration for 6 hours a day.

yes,The toughness level goes as follows:
BITS IIT

Means the level of BITS is almost or somewhere near to
IIT.

BITS
IIT > AIEEE
Thats what it is.
For BITS you require 60% aggregrate and 80% PCM.
I know you can get it.
For IIT = 60% + aggregrate.

The AIEEE follows Formula based questions whereas BITS
and IIT follow "Strength of Concepts".

Hope it is useful for you.
ALL THE BEST.........My Friend.
Hope i see u next time as a IIT student instead of just an
Aspirant :)

Cheers!!!!!!!@@@@!!!!!!!!

Always available for help !

But Remember Don't hesitate to ask a good Question but
Be damn serious for Questioning a weak one.
