Please Help......AIEEE 2008

None

Hello,
i am trying to crack aieee 2008 but have not joined any classes for it.........i am sincerely workin hard for my state boards and am in top 5 of my classes rankings...but i wanna crack aieee also but at the same time dun wanna over do it and lose my rankings in state boards......is it possible for clear AIEEE with knowledge of 12th.........as in ill do everything of my 12th from all books.....will i be able to get a rank below 20K if i do only 12th portion properly ? my state boards have portion equivalent to CBSE/AIEEE 12th portion

Please Help Me Urgently !!

* Note: i have hardly any time to start doing initial chapters though i know them thik thak......i have all books needed......

If u're studyin sincerely, u'll have no problems....

Dont study differently for AIEEE and Boards.....

F= ma in all sorts of exams...

Jus keep ur concepts clear....who knows, u may even b able to crack JEE

Well as you said are among the toppers it's not a big deal for you to crack AIEEE. It's just the matter consistency. I would insist you should find some in between your boards preparations and solve some objective problems if you are willing to be among the top rankers in AIEEE too. All the best...get the tempo going.

just need to spent some time on ncert

IITKGP_Bipin,
though i am in top 5 of my state board classes..... the portion is only half...and thats my main worry........i am basically preparing only 12th CBSE portion for AIEEE........is it enuff ?

I doubt it. Around 45% of the questions in most of the entrance exams are based on 11th portions. If you are absolutely sure that you can crack any sum at aieee level given to you from 12th syllabus, then dont emphasise too much on 11th portions. However, remember, every question that you get right in aieee, you go ahead by 3500-4000 ranks. (If the format is like aieee 07). But I think it will be quite difficult getting a rank of under 20000 without 11th portions. You will be getting a month's holidays after boards. Use that time for 11th portions only.

no man i dont believe thatu can actually make it within top 25000 if u r only for 12.

although am from isce board but still i think urs class 11 portions r very easy .

so dont worry , do it in ur leisure time and dont lose ur confidence.

as for coaching , u need nt have any formal coaching as it finally depends on ur calibre of how u perform.
