whats eligibility for obc quota

in the OBC quota, all the students belonging to OBC are included except the creamy layer. children belongong to creamy layer are not benefitted by this. any student is a member of the creamy layer if he/she is child of:
a) serving and past president s, vice-presidents, SC and HC judges.
b) Class I and class II officers of central and state services and PSUs
c) Colonels and above in army and equivalent posts in Navy, Air Force.
d) Professionals like doctors, lawyers: those engaged in industry
e) People holding agricultural land above a cretain limit.
f) People with annual income of more than Rs. 2.5 lakh

Hi Sahilgupta/goiitians,

Thanks for your comprehensive answer on OBC quota,

But I am in odd type of situation now:

I studied my BE in CS under OBC quota but now earning almost more than 10 lakhs per year.

As per gov. records I am still son of a farmer whose income is under 20,000 per year. But I still have a doubt that, can I avail this OBC quota on IIT or IIM for me???

Pls answer this question as soon as possible.
