Dear goiitans This time I am in trouble, actually I am not (because I have grown strong). The story is all time concern of 10+2 the ?attendance?. a week earlier it was 65%.my father talked to my teacher and they asked to submit about 5 medicals of back date, which I did. today my principal sir talked to me actually he gave me a 15 min lecture that he wont allow me to sit in boards and those med need to be sent to CBSE.what a blunder he said ?had u gone for some coaching? what he meant? if I were taking some coaching then he would allow me, but as I am self studying then those med. wont be considered. Its final I am not going to that school anymore. why to go? just to do so called?tafri?. I don?t believe in school teaching infact in ay type of teaching upto 10+2.it is so commercialized. I plead, let me study the way I want. Is this the independent India.experts plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help

Everyone has a different opinion about schools and you are right as per your thinking i.e. to self study. But not going to school will not help, you have to pass the 12th exam with at least 60% and your decision may spoil your hardwork. Your teachers can do anything.
As you have mentioned earlier that you have completed your syllabus why are you taking that much stress. Feel easy, attend classes and enjoy a bit. You can even study on your own during school hours, go to back bench and study whatever you like.
But don't do anything which may hinder your result.

have you gone mad????firstly you need to have minimum 75% to sit in boards and secondly how can you afford to miss your school much..... i do accept the fact that its not that imp at this stage but you just cant bunk this much and its not that all iitians have low board percentage except for some exceptions but they do regret it later...they all have equally high percentage ...you can see it for yourself.... not much time is left but i think you should seriuosly start attending schools for remaining of your twelth and make up your attendance oryou will ultimately lose time running to delhi or ajmer (whichever be the board ) when all aill be studying

This is the crucial period of your preperation for the IIT-JEE exam , the main focus should be on IIT from now on. The syl. in your coaching institute would finish by another month or so , but the job is not yet done , the MOST imp period of the two years is "revision" , and it is not everyone's cup of tea. As soon as the syl is over the school teachers n all will be all over you with the pre-boards , practical files projects n crap . You should no doubt DO all these things beacuse board is imp too...but definitely not at the cost of your studying. IF you have vela time then you think abt all these. As far as attendence is concerned , i'll tell you a trick , just keep giving medical leave applications for all the days you are absent and your attendence will be just fine , try going 2-3 days a week and give medical leave for the other days.

@joyfrancis ok if you still give leave applications you granted leave for a day but your still marked as absent for that day with leave granted ...that day doesnt count for your attendance ...atleast this the way in our school and may be all schools ...bcoz you can go on giving fake applications and get attendance ..but this is not the case actually...i think no school is such dumb founded

@ankur
i am not a pro school guy nor saying in favour of school .... but the person who has started this post is in a extrmeley critical situation and is having just 65% attendance ... there isnt much time left for completion and ending of schools and one needs to have atleast 75% to sit in boards and if you think that the teachers are goin to increase it to 75% i dont really think so because it isnt the border line case ....everyyear two three chaps have to run to ajmer at the last moment for allowing them to sit in boards(atleast in our school).... ..... and already she has a bunked a lot of school and then must have definitely completed course and if not then there is no use of bunking of school bcoz you again dont utilise the time ........... now it depends on her ...its her choice ... i have presented my view

U r rite pink_ele, skools(mostly) r of no gr8 use, i can understand ur situation but yaar this is ur last year at skool, atleast go there for some days and enjoy with ur frenz, everyone needs break, no? or u can take ur study material to skool and study there in free periods, i know its difficult stdying in skool in free periods but try doing that and motivate ur frenz also to do the same, such grp studies will be beneficial and if u think that wat is the use of going to skool wen nobody teaches there well, then u must tell this thing to ur parents or ur princi so that they can help u skool is not a bad place yaar, go there or u will become an introvert i am telling u, u wud miss skool wen its over after 12th aur pata hai kya, tell ur princi(actually lie) that u have joined a coaching and u dont get time, atleast in this way he will gather some understanding and will understand ur position... dont worry much about the matter, if u r a gud student, ur skool will somehow make sure that u r able to sit in boards bcoz even they want their results, remember the attendance in their hands : ) CHEERZ and rate if u like my advice....
