Actually I want to do cs because that's what I'm interested in. But my father asks me to join ece ( the third option ). Because, A person doing ece can opt to do higher studies in the IT field or in the electronics field. Or else he can enter the IT industry after some training or the electrical/electronics field. EEE is a very good course but it is really tough and tougher than cs or ece. ece is moderately tough and cs is easy to do. Job opportunities for cs are expected to fluctuate but ece is expected to be evergreen always cause of its dual nature. If you are doing cs in a reputed institution like IIT or NIT or others, I'll say go for it, for you will not have problems of getting a job, they will always recruit you. But for a moderate college ece should be preferred. It also depends on your interest. Don't take up some course because everyone's telling you to and then later say that it's too tough to continue. So, whatever you do, do what you think will be best. It's all up to you.

E & c are lifelong branches ...they are the base and will be for ever....computers are on top today.you can get the best jobs in here with very good packages in foreign but india is an outsourcing country and not a manufacturing one .these have a little less scope in india but for e&c there are more opportunities available ..now it depends in you
rate me for my efforts ! cheers!
