abey SRM is totally a fake one! bhankas! I ve visited the campus n it was an utter shit located in slums of Chennai. Believe me. SRM is not even the dust of foot of VIT ,man! VIT is really awsome in all areas frm teaching to campus to students to everything! Do visit VIT.

Listen, don't take SRM if you think you are talented, and if u think that you can clear aieee or iit next year. If you managed to clear aieee this year, then forget about SRM. You can also wait for anna counselling if u applied.

Hi! SRM or VIT all sail in the same boat. The fees is high. There r 150-175 students per class and noway u could get individual attention! So,dont go for them!!

ma ultimate aim is to clear iit..but the thing is,ma parents r not lettin me to drop an year.If at all i join in an institution like nit,the schedule would be hectic, which may affect ma iit preparation. So,wanna join in srm...is it comparable to other deemed univ like sastra, amrita etc..??

If your ultimate aim is IIT, forget SRM, take a year drop, join a coaching institute and work your pants off. By joining an college, you would be reducing your JEE preparation time as well as hampering the study time required for that college. I am not saying it can't be done. Loads of people have done it. But remember its difficult as hell. So, you can join a college ... but make sure you can work relentlessly the whole of this year.
All the best to you.
