hey...u r underestimating ICT.....d course is similar to IT wid 1 communication subjct each sem n also 4m 3rd yr onwards u can chose electives like vlsi(related 2 electronix) or IT or communication related...ICT has a gr8 future...although its only here in the country..(but many collgs r plannin 2 open this branch)..thats why so many misconceptions abt it...

n abt packages n ol..they'r improving every yr...n its not like u shud  b amng toppers f batch etc..its knowledge that counts...ur gpa's r majorly 4 eligibilty lik ur board % in jee/eee...n which compny pays u if u hv spent 4 yrs gaining nthng..!

to sum up-its an awesum collg infra n faculty wise...campus lyf is too gud..!tk a quick decision...!

well...i dont believe in the concept of college rankings rather i believe in "branch+college" rankings in chosing ur college..!

as my advice.. daiict and lnmiit are the colleges of same position.. but im telling this not in terms of rankings...

the fact is that lnmiit didnt take part in the rankings till now..... thats why its not placed in any ranks... but im sure itll b in one of the top institutes....

this is not my word... one parent has called me recently.. he told that he asked the dean of the nit-warangal to suggest his son a college. the dean of nit-w has told if he gets the top branches in top 3 nits, then go for them. else go for iiith, else go for lnmiit. he stated that lnmiit is the 2nd best in institutes like iiits. well ill accept daiict is as good.. but go with your branch preference.. let me remind you ece is an ever green branch.. and it in daiict aswell is a good branch. well if you are interested in ece, then you can happily come 2 lnmiit.... what i mean to say is that u dont need to take a step back thinking lnmiit is not as good a college as daiict or thapar. lnmiit is truly a great institute with great future prospects... the only problem lies with its popularity which surely with our efforts will be achieved. as for placements.. they will follow with the alumni.. let me remind you.. till now the total alumni of the college is not more than 120.. may be in a 2 or 3 years lnmiit will certainly be placed in the right rank it deserves....

from the availbale options, best for u wud be LNM coz

1. u r getting ECE there, which is the best branch amongst elec, mech, IT..

2. even d college LNM is a very gud institute, the only thing in which it falls less than others is its pouplarity factor that is bcoz its a comparitively new institute, still its growth has been remarkable which is credited to its faculty which i can auure is the best any institute can have... its not just i m saying it, u may veryfy it... go to LNM site and check for the profile of any of the professors.... surely ur all doubts wilol be gone, believe me..at LNM fcaulty is more than excellent... and rest all other fcators that a gud institute need are there in LNM..
