NIT surat is not among top rung NIT's but if you compare average salary even NIT patna has better average salary than NIRMA but DAIICT is a differnrt thing and if u r getting it then go for it .
But,even I would prefer NIT surat OVER DAIICT bcoz over the time u would feel that NITs offer more lucrative job placements due to their brand & the flame of NITs would not cease to such Institutes.

bt i wuld get only chemical in nit..........so i just wanted to know whose av package would be greater.........
i fnd on daiict website the av package of daiict is 3.25 L per annum

don't go by just the avg placement. a good institute needs a lot more to maintain and get high levels and ranks. sometimes not so good institutes pay more, yet aren't that good.
MSIT has av of 3.5lacs while Thapar has an avg of only 3.25lacs. But you can't really say That MSIT is even close to Thapar, can you?
By the way, till last year DAIICT had an av placement of 2.6lacs and this year it is around 3.1lacs.

i have daiict councellin on 26th of june....i came to know thru ankur gupta site that there is some problem goining on in daiict wrt to its placement as it is not approved by aicte...is it so???what sort of reputation does it have...should i prefer it over thapar chemical and rv,banglore eee(wch i will get in comedk councellin)

No private institute not affiliated to the Govt is AICTE approved, not even BITS Pilani. Till last year, av packages weren't good but I read somewhere that this year was fine. Even last year wasn't all that bad, if you really see it. Thapar is definitely better, but not if you get Chem there. RVCE is a different league, not as good. Take DAIICT, but find out more about the problem first I would suggest.

firstly I am not a senior.
secondly, ask ppl about salaries. google it up to.
but don't made your judgements based mainly on the packages, that would be wrong.
tell us your choices and let us discuss that out too. :)
