Let me tell u all something abt me. I am currently in the XIth std from mumbai and hav joined no institute for JEE preparation but just a coaching class for XIth and MHT-CET. Today when i went to the coaching class one of our lecturers Prof. G (I wud not name him in ful just to prevent hi identity) gave a big big lecture on the XII, CET and JEE, in which he told certain things which really hurt me and many others who r JEE aspirants. 1. He told that if u hav started the preparation after XIth std (means recently) then do not ever dream of a seat in IIT b'coz it is too late to do so. My view: I say that the candidate who has to appear JEE can work with dedication for just 6 months and can get into an IIT if he really is seriou abt it.
2. He said that the approach required for attempting JEE is not suitable to attempt MHT-CET. My view: I think JEE is the toughest of exams in india, so how a different approach is required for CET.
3. He said that many IIT graduates go for an MBA which is a mere wastage of an engineering seat and that they must not do so in his views. My view: I think the iit graduates are not common people but people who hav faced competitions and hav their own right to choose what they wanna do.
I wud like to hear ur views b'coz if he continues to do so then many of my IIT aspiring classmates will quit studying for JEE.
no need to listen to prof.just do wat u believe in. nd remain true to urs wrds.u can surely crack jee. u r in 11th only
