There are many other very brilliant branches such as mechanical, electrical,marine,ocean engineering and so on..

In fact it is the college that matters the most i.e whether you're opting any branch from IIT or NIT or Any useless private college..The main thing is college.."College IIT ya NIT hai toh agar tumharey paas koi thik-thak branch hai to bhi zabardast placement milegi..Varna C.S jaisey branch kisi private college mein le bhi logey to kuch ukhad nhi paoogi!..Samjhe naa Pooja!

why do u ask senseless ques.....branches are good or bad acc to one's pref.....there is scope in every single branch.....and if u will enjoy ur work then there is money also.......

BITS bhi bahut badiya hain!..Tum aapney interest ke hisaab se chuno.Shayaad tum informatn systms mein zyaada interested ho toh usey hi chun lo!..lekin agar tumhara ye first attempt hai aur agar tumhe lagta hai ki agley saal IIT or NIT paa saktey ho padhai ke dum par toh study mein joot jao aur BITS ko Maaro goli kyunki IIT or NIT se B.Tech krney ka placement mein aapna alag freedom hota hai!

I think nishant is not rude at all..Nishant is right that NO branch is good or bad..every branch has its own scope especially in Reputed Colleges..

Agar information chahiye toh google ka use kariye mam!..Common sense bhi lagiye aapna thoda jaisey ki Computer science walon ko textiles ke baare mein thodey hi padhaya jayeega balki unka main subject maths hoga..( maths should be very strong in C.S)

of course!Mechanical aur electrical ke liye yaar!..par haan physics ka use har jagah hai toh phir tumhara iska zyaada kam imp. hona kehna bekaar hai!..Almost har branch mein iska use hai!You can never underestimate physics!
