BITS Pilani did a mistake

None

A mistake by BITS Pilani!

My score is 311 in BITSAT 2009. And, Anubhav Suri has got 309. My preference list for admission to BITS Pilani is as follows:

1. EEE at Pilani

2. EI at Pilani

3. ME at Pilani

4. CS at Pilani

5. Chemical at Pilani

6. EEE at Hyd

7. ECE at Hyd

8. ME at Hyd

9. CS at Hyd

10. Civil at Pilani

11. Chemical at Hyd

12. Civil at Hyd

And, Anubhav with a score of 309 has got EEE at Hyd campus but I with a score of 311 got Chemical at Hyd campus even though it is below EEE - Hyd in choice list. How is this possible?

maybe the other person is lying...no hard feelings..just a possibilty...another cud be....d oder person's marks got increased n urs not!!

my score is 313

my preference order is

1-ece-hyd

2-cse-hyd

3-eee -hyd

4-mech-hyd

5 -civ--hyd

i got civil -hyd

one of my friend with lower score than me got eee hyd.........i was shocked---------------------------

No possibility of increase in marks, it is online based test!

yes, marks are revised due to wrong questions... usually ppls scores increase by 3 or 4 mks... Ask any bitsian

what u said is possible....The one who has got lesser marks can get a better degree than yours.This depends on how u fill ur preference form.So, anubhav must have filled EEE at hyd. among his top choices..but yours is little below.hope u understand!!!!!!!

Mine is mentioned in question. So, Anubhav set his 10th preference as EEE - hyd and i set my 6th preference as EEE - hyd and i hav got 311 while anubhav has got 309.

yes bits has made mistake i got civil in hyd with 313 marks my preference order was ece-hyd,csehyd,eee hyd,mech-hyd,civ-hyd

Ya, it happens but dont worry. U will get what u deserve at those marks, maybe in forthcoming iterations if not this. Pay ur fees and wait for the 2nd iteration. And yes, marks can be increased if u had wrong ques in ur set.
