considering a left govt .in the background ,....... i would like to know about the academics&placemnts to decide whether to apply ornot .nobody seems to b talking about durgapur in these forums

My Papa's colleague's son used to study there. He was studying ECE.He got an offer from TCS with 80,000 Rs. package. Currently he is working with a MNC in Kolkata. His CAT percentile this year is 97%.

strike doesnt matter more,you can go for it.it is NIT and you will get a B-Tech degree from it after 4 year,if you are getting a good branch then you can go there withount thinking about any other parameter
