i didn't take coachin as in classroom program but i did a correspondence course from BT....didn't do very well....AIr 4861....and...i wanted to join a coaching class....but couldn't find a gud one in vicinity to my home....and i won't be called an iitian as i most probably will b joinin bits....
well guys first of all you are very brave to think abt iit without coaching.
i did coaching but a couple of friends managed without it with ranks 1447 and 2345.
its all about getting a feel of the subjects.
if you study by self keeping a good friends circle in school with common aim is good.
you can discuss your doubts,clear your concepts and learn new things with such people.
ya and do attend school and listen to lectures.a couple of problems in phy,chem come from lab experiments
try to keep yourself motivated regularly by thinking positive.
keep sat and sun for revision of all you have done in the week. and revise all you have done in a month at last 3-4 days.
this way you never loose control on what you know.
and do join a test series preferably brilliant/narayana cause there standard is near iit and not fiitjee.
this will remove exam fear and tell you regularly where you lag.
refer ncert in phy,chem .its definitely god level and sufficient for iit.
for maths tmh is good.
