That changes every year.Trust me.Ive given JEE 2009.Its very erratic.You really cant predict anything.


Still,to be safe,I think 280/480 will generally be in top 1000.

You can atleast tell that those marks above which i am very very safe to reach into top 1000's

See when the paper was said to be easy in 2007 then one had to to score around 300 to be in top 1000 wheras in 2008 1000th ranked person scored around 260. It depends on the difficulty level. Just be thorough with your concepts.
