i m getting petroleum in ISM dhanbad and electrical in DCE. What shud i prefer?? which is better in terms of placements and career?? Personaly i m equally interested in both the branches

dude...definitely go for ISM dhanbad...!!! petroleum is flourishing and highly rewarding....and of course ..placed better than DCE...well if you are interested in Electrical, then think about....and if are new to both then I would prefer dhanbad..!!
i wld have preffered DCE....u must always take a bttr branch....As u r gttg in DCE...
U may be paid well in petro but ur service life will be smaller thn average....so ur net income in ur life remains about same.....but u will have to live in seas and forests for month...no use of money there...
and in ece as u r dng frm a vry good collg....u will have a very good scope.....and grt packages....i have some of my family members in it they are not frm grt collgs....
but each has about pckg of 25 lac...
You should go for ISM dhanbad. We dont have much colleges in Inida which offer you petroleum engg. and ISM dhanbad is the best of all of them and even IITs dont have this course, that makes this course makes better and I agree, you dont have to work in forests or whatever. You have offices and if its about branch you are worried about, then you have a very unique one. My order would be 1.Dhanbad 2.Surathkal (Csc is much better than electrical) 3.DCE

if so then prefrer ISM petro one of the best in India and petro is rewarding also plus the brand name of ISM(as through IITJEE)i m saying this as ISM has a good name more reputed and branded and that too in petro...rest it depends on u.. electrical is also very good but their u have DCE brand name....
