I've got an aieee state rank of 137 and all india rank 1607.Will I be able to get IIIT Hyderabad in

I've got an aieee state rank of 137 and all india rank 1607.Will I be able to get IIIT Hyderabad in the first round of counselling or second or third......or even beyond that?

Going by the previous years' trends, you should be able to get CS in IIIT H in the first counselling. The closing rank for CSE last time was 1729 for BTech and 2613 for dual degree. State ranks dont help in IIITH.

If ur AIR is 1607(not 16007),u can easily get any course in any NIT,leave alone IIIT. Check last year's cut offs for reference.You dont hav to worry because there is an increase of about 7000 seats(all AIEEE colleges together).

But isnt it possible that last years cutoffs are the ones after the second and third counselling?

IIIT H is participating in the second round of couselling for the first time. For all other institutions, it can be the ranks of the second/ third counselling
