IITM or IIITH?

None

Should I go for IIT Madras Engg Des/automotive engg. or IIITH CSE?

I'm interested in computers,but I dont ,ind doing anything else.

I mainly looking for R&D jobs in big industries......

just think is the branch or college which will be with u in life long....and suppose if join in iit and though u earn salary well but atleast some times u will feel that u are not in ur interested job..moreover iiit h has average salary above some iits and software people are paid jobs ..in any way prefer iiit-hyd all the best

Dude if you want to do R & D then go for IIIT H ( it is a research based university ) and since you have an intrest in CSE too... you can actually excel in it.

I was thinking more on the terms that eng design will allow me to enter robotics/mechatronics.....but again thats not so sure.

Plus its an iit.

On the other hand,with CSE,I'll surely get a good job,in something that I'm interested in.

So its more about the risk involved you see.

Can someone tell me the various MS programmes that I can get admission into if I join Engg.Des/automation?

go for iit madras. engg desissn is a good branch. better than chem nd all. plus iit has much better job oppurtunities. after 4 years this branch will be much more in demand.
