Please help.........not much time left for locking

None

IT or Mechanical in BIT Mesra,Ranchi???

considering the facts:

1. I love computer programming.

2. Placements were better in mechanical as compared to IT in 2008-09. ( In General )

Don't go by the placement statistics. If you love computer programming you should definitely go for IT. Placements are volatile depending on market conditions with branches overtaking each other. If you have interest you will certainly develop the skills which will ensure you a better job.

due to recession, it placements were affected.......but after four years, the scenario can be completely different......so go for your passion......rate me if this is useful
